About Us

Established in May 2022, Veena Gusain Memorial Foundation (VGMF) is a non-profit organisation committed to enhancing the lives of underprivileged communities in India. Focused on women, children, and the less fortunate, VGMF operates in key areas such as women empowerment, children's cognitive development, youth skill building and education for economically disadvantaged kids. Additionally, it fosters collaboration among similar organisations through knowledge sharing and provides support in distributing essential items like food, books, and clothing to those in need. Based in New Delhi, VGMF strives to make a positive impact on society.

VGMF has tax exemption status under section 12A of the Income Tax Act and also registered under section 80G of the Act.

Social Welfare & Support Program

Creative Kids Program

VGMF undertakes a range of social welfare activities to enhance social awareness, facilitate action & initiatives, training & mentoring to youth and women, care and support to senior citizen. We also undertake food and cloth distribution drives.

Art, painting, creative writing, poetry, singing and dance serve as potent mediums for self-expression, honing communication skills, and cultivating imagination. These activities not only enhances emotional intelligence but also encourage problem-solving abilities and critical thinking in kids.

At VGMF, we support talented students from all backgrounds to gain knowledge and right skills by providing the right platform and mentoring. Our aim is to equip youth with the tools and guidance they need to thrive personally and professionally.

The Knowledge Share program strives to collect and distribute valuable knowledge, information, skills, training, and resources beneficial to youth and other interested people/organisation. It offers essential guidance, mentorship, and other assistance, empowering beneficiaries to acquire new skills, stay informed about trends, and enhance their professional desirability and financial independence.

The VGMF Women Empowerment Program supports women in building financial independence, confidence, and essential skills through workshops, mentorship, and expert-led sessions. It promotes financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and digital skills while creating a supportive community that helps women grow, make informed choices, and contribute meaningfully to society.
